I stuck

SFCC Zoo

The Scherer family went to the Santa Fe Community College Zoo. It was so much fun. The best four dollars I ever spent.

Womencation - plus 3 - February 2009

So, back in February my family came to visit. Mom, Michelle, Marcus, and Seth.
These are some pictures of the events:
St. Augustine
Kanapaha Botanical Gardens
Kennedy Space Center
Disney Animal Kingdom

We had so much fun! We're glad they could come visit us here in Florida.
Unfortunately, the weather was freezing, but we brazed the storm and freezing and went touring around Florida.
In case you didn't get it the plus 3 are the three little boys we hauled all around with us.

Dancing before bedtime

So Max has invented his own type of interpretive dance. If you look closely he likes to kick his legs out to the side when running around.

My toddler uses the computer

Max is waiting for Baby Einstein to load. yeah even one-year olds use the computer these days.

The busy Scherer's

So I haven't posted in a while so here is what we're up to these days:

Milk and Eyeore. Everyday I find Max in this pose. Chilaxin' with his gang of Eyeores.

Taking our diaper off and complaining about wearing clothes......

Max can now say some understandable words: nana (banana), look, whatsthis?, I stuck, NOOOO!, whosthat?, eyeore, milk, juice, hotdog, bird, raffe(giraffe), horse -followed by a neigh, dog, cat, key (monkey), truck, car, Nemo, eye, nose, book, water, high five and of course Mama, and Dadda.

I am more conviced that Max is too much like me everyday. His favorite movie is Robin Hood and that was mine when I was growing up. He watches the whole thing. which is also a new thing - watching movies.

I had a birthday I'm now 27. That's really old I decided. My friend Claudia and I had a fabulous Karaoke Party. We had so much fun planning it and having everyone over at my house. I will post pictures in the new post.

Philip goes to school 6 days a week and he's there - well, let's not keep track of the hours it's less frustrating that way. He's really enjoying it though, and that's what counts. When he's not being student Dr. Scherer he's at home being dad, husband, home teacher, violinist, violist, and organist. Philip has not had time for himself since Max was born really. haha. He's always serving wether its at the hospital or home.

He's finally decided that he 'thinks' he wants to go into Radiology. Apparently 'thinks' =90% sure.

Philip just loves toooo many parts of medicine that he can't narrow it down to one peg. Maybe he should have been at Doctor around the turn of the 20th century, when they did everything, including blood-letting. haha

We went to the Orlando Temple with our friends, the Calaways, and then on to Disney's Animal Kingdom. We love going to the temple and we feel the blessings of the temple in our lives. We had so much fun and it was a great day to spend as a family. and every now and then we make it down to Sarasota to visit Mama and Papa Scherer who lovingly spoil us with delicous food and free baby sitting. Michelle, Marcus, Seth and My mom all came in February to visit and it was freezing, but we had lots of fun running all around Florida.

We are enjoying life and having lots of fun in florida. Don't forget to come visit us!!!

These Boots are made for walkin'....

He pointing to the car and saying "truck". He calls all cars trucks. It's a man thing.

Well, it rains here in Gainesville a TON, so I bought Max some rain gear. He loves to wear the boots, but hold the clothes please. Haha. So here he is in the boots only.

Plastic Spoons and a Grater

So I was cooking in the kitchen one day and I decided I better check on Max. I hadn't heard from him in a while. This is what he invented. He's quite the inventor these days.
