It's been so warm here is Gainesville that Max has been swimming outside.
Anything to do with water and Max is happy.

I tried to get a video of Max giving his opinion, but I could only get a picture. He's quite the talker these days. He mostly says "dadadadada" and "Nananana". He's learning more everyday.

My first time climbing the stairs
Playing in the play room
My new favorite toy, I take it with me everywhere.
In the playroom, my new favorite place to be!
Princess Ahmari, she shared all her toys with me. Thanks for playing with me so nicely!
The sun was too bright for those of us with sensitive eyes. The beach is a white sand beach so it was even more bright and beautiful! It wouldn't be a spring break unless we went to the beach in Florida.

Can I drive dad?
Max is ready for a front facing car seat. He prefers to see what's going on at all times. Don't worry though, the car was parked!
Philip had his spring break this month from school. We went to Sarasota to visit Mom and Dad Scherer and Ahmari. We had so much fun, we went to the beach, to the Sarasota Opera to see 'La Rodine', we went to the moivies and as usual we ate beautifully prepared meals every day. Vacation isn't really a vacation without great food that we didn't have to prepare! During the weekend Kurt, Allison and Isabella came and visited too. It was so much fun to see family and to have a relaxing and wonderful spring break.

We celebrated march Birthdays while my mom was here.
Philip and I bought her a cook book that we have. She calls quite often from California to get a recipe from the book, so we decided that she could use one of her own. Thanks for visiting and helping us we love having you visit, Mom!
Well, another month has flown by and I'm trying to figure out where the time went! I guess this is where it went...
First Max learned to crawl
Then he learned that he can pull himself up to stand
After which, he learned that he can walk along anything that he can hold onto
So bascially the whole month was spent baby proofing the house, and following Max around so that he wouldn't get hurt - 'hurt' being the subjective word. Really I don't know how little kids survive the toddler stage. He has had more then his share of bruises and crash landings.
Thankfully Grandma Lake came and is endless entertainment for Max.
Philip made it through another month of tests, exams, lectures, and even the occasional night in the ER with his wife. If we go a whole month without needing a doctor's visit, it's been a miraculous month. Nobody needs a doctor more then the Philip Scherer Family. We can't wait for Philip to be done with school in anywhere from 5 - 8 years! We love you, Philip, keep up the good work! Dinners ready when you get home....

Max went to play with his cousins Isabella, Andrew, and Tommy. He has so much fun with them. Max likes to talk to the pictures of his cousins on the fridge.
Max loves to play the piano.
He's been teaching Philip to play. We call it the fortissimo method....
Max, when you're 3 your Dad can start teaching you to play! Are you ready, Dad, with all that extra time you have?
