Introducing the newest member of our family

Lorelei Rosemarie Scherer

6lbs. 12 oz.

Brand New Baby

She has brown eyes. She's trying to show them here.

Dad and the baby.
Philip is such a good Dad. He got to do all the diaper changes in the hospital. Which he reminds me of...daily. He is so supportive and loves to help with the baby as much as possible.

Lorelei was born on a record setting cold day here in Gainesville, I'm glad I had a hat for her, it was freezing, even in the hospital it was chilli. (No, I didn't make the hat. I wish! Although, it was hand made for her. I bought it at Belle Baby Boutique in etsy.com. The hats there are all hand made. I also got a purple one, who knew it would be record setting lows right now in Gainesville?)

The Big Brother

Max loves having a baby in the house. He kisses her head at least 25 times a day, he wants to hold the baby and he likes to check on her when she starts crying. When she really gets going, he'll cry along with her, he's so compassionate.

The Grandmas. Thanks to the full support system behind us we were spoiled with lots of help from family.

Philip's mom came and took care of Max while we were in the hospital. She also cleaned my entire house so when we came home from the hospital it was shinny and new. We are so grateful for her love and support, at the drop of a dime she was able to come and help.

Uncle Kurt and Aunt Allison were the first response team to come and help with Max when my water broke. So a huge thank you to their family for being here to help so Philip could be with me at the hospital. Max loves to play with Isabella, we are so grateful to have them close by to help.

My mom came out two days later and we are grateful that she can help with the new arrival and Max while we adjust to this new exciting life in our home!

2nd Bath: Lorelei loves water and enjoys her bathtime.
