The Christmas Card that never was
So it was my intention to send out Christmas cards this year. But Since I was on a 5 week vacation in CA, I never got around to it. We were too busy playing! We sure had a wonderful Christmas time with family, lots and lots of family. Philip was able to come and play for a week and we partied and played as best we could.
I will post pictures as soon as I have time.
So here is the long lost Christmas Card:
We have been living in Tennessee for the past six months and absolutely love it! We are ever aware of our short time here and it will break our hearts to leave this wonderul area. It has been such a blessing in our lives to come and live here. We will always remember Chattanooga and our Ward - full of friends - with the fondest of memories. Chattanooga is the best kept secret.
Philip - Graduated from Medical School this past May. He is now Dr. Philp Scherer. He is currently half way done with his Intern year here at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. (Only 4 or 5 years to go!) He is loving the program and the extra time with his family. Philip is an avid Florida Football fan and continues to share is violin playing talents with our ward and community. Philip is currently serving as 1st counselor in the Elders Quorum Presidency and is finding many ways to serve the families and Elders of our ward.
Natalie - Is enjoying being a stay at home mom to two very active children. When she is not running around with the kids or Philip, she is having fun in her calling as Personal Progress leader in Young Women. Natalie spends her extra time, sewing and reading and more sewing. She had plenty of projects this past year for the young women and looks forward to another year of projects!
Max (3) - Our growing pirate with a big imagination. He loves animals and even has an imaginary puppy that he brings with him everywhere, he travels in the trunk with the imaginary cat that we also have. Max has a vocabulary from out of this world and absorbs information like a sponge, that he later uses against you in a battle of wits. He may be a high energy child, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
Lorelei (11 months) - Was born this past January on the coldest day in Gainesville! She came 4 weeks early just like her brother did. She continues to be ambitious and motivated, just like her brother. She is such a happy baby with big brown eyes just like her mommy. She is cuddly and loves to be held, all the time, just like her daddy! She loves people and has quite an outgoing personality. She is such a joy in our home.
